Zetacon Corporation has developed a new and revolutionary control architecture
and methodology, trademarked as “CogniSim” that achieves an unprecedented level
of control for many classes of motor drives and a
number of power management applications (see power
control).
Some
of the key attributes of this unique control architecture include:
Excellent
advanced sensorless motor control, delivering excellent torque at stall.
One
master algorithm controls various classes of motors (induction, permanent magnet
synchronous reluctance), independent of their power rating or the power circuit
used.
Readily adapts to any evolutionary changes in electronic components, switching
devices, and/or processors.
Capable of controlling multiple motors,…even of different types, power ratings,
or performance requirements
Capable of incorporating a power conditioning capability in conjunction with
motor control in the same controller
Operates at lower switching frequencies than most traditional control systems
